Job Description:
Must be willing to work early morning shifts, be proficient in placing peripheral IV’s & blood draws with minimal error, assist anesthesia providers with blocks, follow Physician & Anesthesia orders, administer medications, obtain Vital Signs, EKG’s, labs, etc, Is responsible to function as the patient advocate and remain alert and observant in all aspects of patient care. Conducts Pre-op Patient Phone calls. Able to learn EMR and paper charting system and efficiently complete all charting requirements.
Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED is required. Successful completion of accredited RN program with current Utah State license or current Interstate-compact State licensure. A minimum of one three years of Operating Room circulating nurse experience preferred. Maintains current BLS & ACLS certification.
Job Description:
Requires experience with management of airway, obtain and monitor vital signs, changes in patient status, pain, nausea, surgical site assessment, and input/output monitoring. Job Description:
The RN Circulator is an active member of the surgical team and assists in the care and preparation of the surgical room and patient by performance of routine and delegated duties. Must remain alert and observant in all aspects of patient care and assist and offer expert knowledge to operating team members regarding aseptic technique, patient positioning, instrumentation, and safety. Able to learn EMR and paper charting system and efficiently complete all charting requirements.

Assists with the preparation of the operating room & surgery. Knows procedures and gathers needed equipment & supplies. Knows and practices proper hand scrub, gowning & gloving. Knows and adheres to aseptic practices when opening sterile packages or pouring sterile solutions. Can verbally discuss & identify suture material & corresponding use on body tissue. Knows and can identify surgical instrumentation, their names and uses. Maintains sterile field for instruments and supplies during procedure. Anticipates surgeon’s needs and has instruments & supplies readily available for use.
Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED is required. Successful completion of CST Program & Certification, Maintains current BLS Certification.
Job Description:
Position requires the ability to perform basic clinical tasks and patient care, obtain Vital Signs, assist other medical personnel as assigned. Helps assist with room turn-over and cleaning of the surgical suites, assists in moving/transferring of patients, assists in Central Processing Dept as directed.
Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED is required. Current Utah CNA Certification. Maintains current BLS Certification.
Job Description:
Assists in cleaning and sterilizing of instrumentation. Knows and adheres to aseptic practices. Keeps job knowledge current with needs of the department. Knows and can identify surgical instrumentation, instrument sets, their names and uses. Knows proper sterilization cycles in regards to the different instrumentation and sets. Promptly reports any malfunctioning instruments or equipment.
Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED is required. CSPDT certification preferred, but may obtain after hire.
Must be punctual. Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods of time, be in good physical and mental health, assist with patient positioning & transfers, move gurneys and large pieces of equipment, perform repetitive tasks/motions, with some lifting necessary. Must be emotionally stable and mature, think critically, display a calm demeanor, and uses appropriate language in a courteous and friendly attitude toward patients, Physicians, Anesthesia providers and staff members. Able to work efficiently in a changing and fast-paced environment. Maintains the confidentiality of patients and others and follows the Center’s Policies & Procedures. Shifts vary in length each day and require ability to flex hours as needed. Must be willing to work early morning, afternoon, or evening shifts. Open Monday-Friday.
